Digital Tissue Section Bath, LEDThe Digital Tissue Section Bath, LED is designed specifically to enhance visualization of tissue sections and to reduce the risk associated with floating tissue debris. An innovative LED light array sits inside the bath, working in collaboration with a high-contrast background to provide optimal specimen viewing conditions. The LED light array utilizes separate white and blue LED lights to illuminate the water surface. Both LED lights are dimmer controlled, allowing the user to vary the intensity of the backlighting to their preference for section viewing. The LED backlighting also aids detection of any tissue floaters, which may be left on the water surface, after cleaning section debris using a tissue between specimen cases. |

Digital temperature control accurately maintains water at a set temperature, allowing tissue sections to be efficiently flattened prior to being picked up with a microscope slide. The bath has generous space for a user to rest their hands when floating sections and an extra deep tapered bowl which allows slides to be dipped at any angle, without touching the bottom of the bowl.

The low profile, 2.3 liter, black, finished interior chamber of this unit reduces glare, improving visibility of the tissue specimens. It includes a glazed glass lid for easy viewing of interior, and the top ledge allows space for preheating or for evaporating away any remaining water on the glass slides. Its durable, fiberglass insulated body prevents heat loss and fluctuations in temperature for uniform surface heating of the non-stick coated chamber. It has a detachable power cord for easy cleaning.
Tissue Floatation Water BathOur glass Tissue Floatation Water Bath has been developed using microprocessor controls and a modular design that has improved reliability and precision. The unit is low profile with a removable rectangular glass basin for easy cleaning. The glass basin is illuminated by LED light from the side allowing clear observation without glare against the black background. There is an ON/OFF switch on the control panel for the LED light. Temperature settings are controlled by push buttons for accurate and precise control and the easy to read LED displays show both set temperature and actual temperature. The corrosion resistant, stainless steel temperature probe flips down into place. The probe has a thermostat sensor inside that turns off when it is lifted up and re-starts when placed back into the basin. |
