Tissue Microarray Mold, 2mm mold, 24 cores, STOCK LEVEL: 1
Tissue Microarrays are paraffin blocks made by extracting cylindrical tissue cores from different paraffin donor blocks and re-embedding these into a single recipient microarray block at defined array coordinates. Using this technique, up to 170 tissue samples can be arrayed into a single paraffin block. Cores sizes vary from 1mm to 4mm. Each microarray block can be cut into 100 to 500 sections. These sections can then be stained by standard histologic procedures or used in immunochemistry and in situ hybridization.
